Find My Quiet Sound is a free web app for people with tinnitus who want comfortable background sound. It is built around one idea: everyone experiences tinnitus differently, so everyone’s comfortable sound is different too. Find My Quiet Sound makes trying, comparing and shaping sounds easy, keeps every level low, and helps you keep what you find.
What it is
- A sound generator with twenty synthesised sounds that loop seamlessly.
- A mixer, a frequency generator, a guided sound-matching tool and Sleep Mode.
- Visual Focus — calm visuals to watch while listening.
- Experiments — personal sound discovery: compare sounds two at a time, paint or sculpt your own, and build sessions; each experiment carries a plain-English "why are we testing this?" note and an evidence label.
What it is not

How it is made
Everything is generated on your device with the Web Audio API and HTML Canvas. There are no audio files to download and no server; your favourites and settings stay in your browser. The source is open at github.com/debra-lang/softwave.
Independence
